The Wits China-Africa Project, housed in the Journalism Department of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, will be holding a China-Africa Journalists Roundtable on Thursday, 6 November, from 8:30am to 5pm at Wits Club, on the West Campus of Wits University.
The journalists roundtable builds on five years of multifaceted activities by the Wits China-Africa Reporting Project. It will bring together about 30 experienced African and Chinese working journalists to discuss insights and challenges, and will offer briefing sessions with China-Africa experts to equip journalists with the practical knowledge, skills, and tools for focussed and insightful coverage of China-Africa relations.
Participants include the projects'reporting grants alumni from China and across the African continent, international correspondents, academics and researchers.
