The Africa-China Reporting Project (the Project) invites everyone to the AFRICA-CHINA JOURNALISTS FORUM (the Forum) at Wits University on November 10, 2016. We are convening a wide range of some of the leading working journalists from Africa, China and elsewhere to discuss perspectives on Africa-China reporting in the context of their own recent reporting experience, and the event will also serve as the official launch of the Project's new branding and identity.
AFRICA-CHINA JOURNALISTS FORUM: PERSPECTIVES ON AFRICA-CHINA REPORTING will take place on November 10, commencing at 9 am at the Humanities Graduate Centre on Wits University's East Campus. The programme will continue through the course of the day and culminate in a celebratory social with drinks provided in a marquee tent on the Library Lawns very close by the Humanities Graduate Centre.
The Project would like to extend a warm invitation to all its friends, associates and followers over the last several years to join us for this momentous event.
The Forum will be hosted by Jeremy Goldkorn, host of the Sinica Podcast and founder of Danwei.
Here is a full programme for the Forum (or download in PDF), and a document (PDF) with more info on how to find the venue on the Wits campus:
